Mark Pryor, Democratic Senator from Arkansas, is running for reelection this November. He was reelected before in 2008. Pryor was first elected to the US Senate from Arkansas in 2002 after serving in the AR House of Representatives and as AR Attorney General. His Republican opponent is Rep. Tom Cotton. Pryor's reelection is vital for Democrats and other Liberals who do not want to see a complete GOP takeover of Congress.

You can be sure this campaign will get uglier as we get closer to the election. Please try to focus on the issue of retaining the Democratic control of the Senate.
