Kay Hagen is the Incumbent Senator from North Carolina

On November 4, North Carolina voters will elect one senator. The incumbent, Kay Hagen, has a Republican challenger, Thom Tillis, GOP Speaker of the NC House of Representatives. Before her election to the Senate in 2008, Hagen served in the NC Senate for 10 years.

Ballotpedia has a great article on Senator Hagen that has many links to current articles about her candidacy. They have her ranked as slightly left of center. We need more women like her in our Congress. A great article that looks at the 30 women who are seeking office in 2014 is here:

GovTrack.US Does a report card on each member of Congress and you can find Hagen's here: https://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/kay_hagan/412324/report-card/2013

Do we need her seat to retain the Democratic control of the Senate? Absolutely!! Her campaign website is here: http://www.kayhagan.com/landing/e140212/ Please check it out and sign up to help in any way that appeals to you. We have less than 85 days to make it happen. Get Out The Vote! Thank you.
