Here at Progressive Democrats Moving Forward - Not Back (#PDMFNB) we have Google + Hangouts twice a week to meet and greet as well as problem solve. Wednesday's hangout ended up focusing on how to deal with DINO's. In case you don't know the acronym, DINO stands for Democrat in Name Only.
After the hangout, Laurel M Davila, the founder of our group posts a summary of the day's discussion. The members brainstormed a few great ideas: Find out through scrutiny of FEC documents who are the DINO's major contributors, contact those contributors to be sure they know how the DINO is voting, join with other progressive organizations to set a strategy for discussing concerns with the legislator and set up face to face meetings with the legislator. These are just a few of the ideas discussed on Wednesday.
